The Nexus Healthcare Group consists of three AGPAL Accredited General Practices:  Macarthur Square Medical and Dental Centre, Campbelltown Mall Medical Centre and Claymore Medical Centre. We operate to standards as determined by the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP).   For over 25 years our family General Practice has looked after the health of local residents in the Campbelltown area. 

We are a fully computerised practice which means that our three surgeries are linked to a central computer, so no matter which surgery you choose to attend, our team will be able to access your health information.   Although located in separated sites for your convenience, we are in effect, one large virtual practice.  

We want to make a difference to the way healthcare is delivered, both for our patients and for our staff.    Our mission is to use a team based approach to provide individuals and their families with a comprehensive approach to all aspects of health care.   We have special interest in preventative medicine to help our patients stay healthy and work together with patients with chronic disease to enable them to understand their disease and to take charge of their own health.  

An efficient team is vital to the delivery of good healthcare.   Therefore, we have put together a wonderful team of health professionals to care for you. We believe that good patient care begins with care for our own staff and if we look after our staff well, provide them with the up to date training and create a positive environment for them to work in, we will have a team who work well together.   Our team members are proud of their achievements and are able and willing to deliver excellent patient care.   You will notice that our surgeries have a friendly and happy atmosphere, where staff and patients alike, feel at ease, valued and cared for.

Experienced Doctors
We have both male and female doctors, and you will receive the same level of care and attention from any of the team, backed up by the best medical equipment and support staff.  Doctors at our practice are fellows of the RACGP (Royal Australian College of General Practitioners) on the Vocational Register of General Practitioners. Some of our doctors work as training supervisors and examiners for the RACGP.   This shows our commitment to general practice and our value of continuing medical education.

Efficient and Caring Nurses
Our nurses play an active role in general practice.  We are justly proud of our experienced and qualified nurses who are vital to our practice.   They are located in the fully-equipped treatment room and dispense a number of important ancillary services under the doctors’ direction; thereby adding to the flexibility and efficiency of the services available to you.

Friendly and Efficient Receptionists
Absolutely indispensable to the smooth running of our practices, our Reception team members are your first contact with our surgeries.   They are ‘face’ of our practice and are chosen for their competence and interpersonal skills.  You can rely on them to look after you and make your visit as smooth as possible.
